Grace And The Bigger Picture To Be Released In Japan Nov. 6
Monday, August 31st, 2009
NO, not that Japan. So while you were watching people play darts or moving all your crap from a bigger box to a smaller box or from a smaller box to a bigger box, Johnny Foreigner were busy getting themselves signed to Pony Up in Japan. Here’s a link, work it. Anyway, also of note is that the Japanese packing of the band’s hotly anticipated sophomore set comes with the b-sides to the freebie digital single for “Feels Like Summer” appended to its tail-end. We have to believe that Pony Up would only ink a deal if the band made some representations to the label about supporting the record with a bit of a tour, so keep your eyes peeled for Japanese tour dates. The trio’s 2006 debut full-length Waited Up Til It Was Light was released in Japan on Fabtone, you may recall. When will we be able to pre-order Grace And The Bigger Picture? Or the single “‘Criminals” that precedes it by a fortnight? When will we know what the b-sides to “Criminals” are (or is, although we’re being optimistic)? Time will tell. Well, actually, we’ll probably tell you. First we have to figure it out. Start saving those farthings.
